Manure discharge system RGK
The Turning Chain System is a manure discharge system that is often used together with JOZ manure scrapers. The solid manure is transported from the cubicles or via the shed ramp with a manure scraper to the end of the manure alley and then deposited onto the Turning Chain System. This transports the manure to the manure storage area quickly and reliably.

- MSC control box
You can connect a Turning Chain System to Joz’s MSC control box, in which case the automatic start/stop feature is also available. - Conveyor belt
You can also opt for a conveyor belt, which is available in sizes from 6 to 12 metres.

Clean floor, healthy cattle
Cattle comfort, animal welfare and hygiene are all linked, so they influence each other. JOZ takes all these aspects into account when designing every solution, since cattle comfort is an important economic parameter in dairy farming. Infectious hoof problems, such as Mortellaro disease, foot rot and hoof inflammation, are caused by bacteria in cattle manure.
Lameness is responsible for major losses at livestock farms. This causes both direct economic damage (costs for treatment and loss of milk production by sick or treated cows) and indirect damage (reduced milk production and fertility, and premature slaughter). Good hoof health therefore not only contributes to animal welfare, it also makes work easier on the farm.
