With Circular Farming, we’re looking to close the loop between manure and a valuable product. For example, we’re valorising organic manure by transforming it into mineral fertilisers, which takes pressure of both the farmer and the environment.
Circular Farming with JOZ
Circular Farming is centred around the cow, as she is at both the beginning and the end of the loop. JOZ’s solutions are linked to the life of cows throughout the day.
Smarter feeding
Circular Farming begins with the way cows are fed. There are lots of advantages to pushing roughage to the feeding fence frequently; not only does it save on labour, it also has a positive effect on the health of your animals. Feed pusher robot Moov 2.0 takes over the pushing for you at fixed times, so JOZ is working for you in the entire barn: behind the feeding fence and in front of it.
Barn automation
Automation means less work, less expense on labour, and more flexibility. The Moov 2.0 is an automatic feed pusher robot that provides fresh feed to your cattle at all times. This in turn improves cow health and animal well-being.
Mucking out
Clean floor, clean animals! Hygiene plays an important role in preventing infectious hoof diseases, such as Mortellaro, footrot and interdigital dermatitis, which are caused by bacteria in manure. Manure scrapers and manure robots keep floors clean, which results in the living environment of your animals being as comfortable as possible.
