How to discharge manure?

Cows are top athletes. Keeping them in good condition means keeping them healthy. A clean, hygienic barn is paramount to this. So how should you discharge manure? And what systems are the best fit for your barn and your animals?
Meeting the emission standards
Every barn must meet the legal emission standards in accordance with the Dutch Low-Emission Livestock Housing Decree. What many entrepreneurs do not know, is the fact that this includes an obligation to scrape. This means that it is mandatory to remove manure from your barn floor every two hours.
So discharging manure is not only highly important for your animals’ health and to achieve a hygienic barn: it is actually a statutory obligation.

You can also opt for one or more manure robots. A manure robot automatically cleans your barn floor. You can completely configure when and how often the robot performs its cleaning routine. And thanks to its high capacity, your barn floor will always remain clean.
