Arend Kuperus is JOZ’s new CEO. He started work on 1 February 2019, taking over from Rick Elling who held the position for more than 13 years. Rick and Rob are delighted to announce the appointment. With the help of Arend’s expertise, we’re expecting to create new opportunities, accelerate international growth, and strengthen our current market position.
Sustainable growth
In the last 13 years, our company has achieved sustainable growth. We’ve introduced new products which reflect demands from dealers and customers. We’ve developed robots and scrapers that have eliminated a lot of heavy work, and transformed cowsheds and other stables into animal-friendly and more natural environments. This increases comfort for both farmers and livestock.
A new strategy, a new CEO
After a period of considerable efforts, it’s time to take the next step. A new strategy, and the appointment of a new CEO to implement it. Arend will play an major role in launching the new strategy, which is intended to take us to the next level and help us achieve our goals.
Arend, who has held various managerial positions around the world, brings more than 30 years of experience in the food and agriculture sector to our company. As a result of this change, Rick will be working in a position in which he alternately deals with sales, customers and products.

Turning plans into reality
Bringing Arend Kuperus on board is another milestone for JOZ. On 1 February 2019, we welcomed him to our headquarters in Westwoud (NL). The Elling brothers are confident that this new cooperation is the key to realising our future plans.
