This robust feed pusher robot offers a major advantage not only during the day, but especially at night. While you’re enjoying a good night’s rest, the robot automatically pushes up the roughage. Lower-ranking animals also benefit from 24/7 access to fresh feed. This results in less feed sorting and more calm in the herd. The animals know there is always feed within reach.

Here’s how the Moov 2PRO works

The Moov 2PRO starts its route from the charging station, which can be placed either inside or outside the barn. You can set and adjust the routes yourself. It’s possible to program an unlimited number of routes for different animal groups.
The transponder technology that forms the basis for navigation does not interfere with other barn operations. The transponders are embedded in the floor and neatly concealed.

The Moov 2PRO’s smooth stainless steel drum is electrically powered and ensures a clean result. Its robust build, weight, and smart drive technology allow the robot to effectively handle uneven quantities of feed along the feed fence.

The robot can rotate both left and right by default, eliminating the need for empty runs. At the end of the feed alley, it can return along the same path, making route planning more efficient and easier.

As a result, there’s less feed sorting and improved average feed efficiency. The amount of milk per kg of dry matter increases. Research shows that a feed efficiency improvement of 0.05 is realistic (average feed efficiency is 1.3 – 1.5).

Feed pushing and robot milking

Customer experiences show that using the feed pusher robot during the start-up phase of robotic milking has positive effects. The cows are more active at night since feed is always available. This leads to more frequent visits to the milking robot in the evening, increasing the number of milkings per cow.

Suitable for every barn

The Moov 2PRO feed pusher robot is suitable for all barn types. With a speed of up to 12 meters per minute, it can also handle large barns. The robot’s wheels are powered by two motors with efficient hypoid gearboxes. A special tread on the drive wheels and a large swivel wheel at the front ensure optimal grip inside the barn.

Is your feed alley too narrow to allow feeding when the Moov 2PRO is in the barn? No problem. With the parking function, you can temporarily park the feed pusher in a different location to free up space.

A Smart Lift Function

Need to navigate an obstacle or elevation in the barn? No problem. The Moov 2PRO is equipped with a lift function that raises the skirt of the drum by up to 70 mm, allowing it to easily cross transitions.
This also keeps the skirt clean, ensuring a hygienic operating environment. The lift function is also useful when driving up or down slopes. A slope of up to 15% is no issue.

Automatic Door Opening and Closing

Feeding across multiple alleys? Or is the charging station located outside? JOZ offers the ‘Door Control’ option for this. Thanks to the J-Link PRO, electric doors open and close automatically—giving you even more flexibility and freedom. The Moov 2PRO handles it all!

Each barn is unique, so every livestock farmer will have different ideas about using the Moov 2PRO To help, three models are available:

Animal health

The Moov 2PRO pushes feed 24/7 towards the feed fence, ensuring your animals always have fresh roughage available. This helps prevent issues like front hoof or withers injuries, as animals no longer need to stretch to reach feed—reducing pressure on the front hooves and withers.

Looking to improve animal health? Automatic feed pushing can definitely help. It starts with young stock: consistent access to roughage supports optimal rumen development.
By offering smaller portions of the same feed more frequently, a stable rumen pH (5.8–7) is achieved.

Healthy animals have higher fertility. This requires a balance between nutrition, energy, and health—with consistent access to fresh roughage playing a vital role.
With the Moov 2PRO, you create more consistency and thus balance. This is especially important during the dry period, which forms the basis for trouble-free calving and a successful start to lactation. A stable pH is critical during this phase.

Planning & routes

Not every group of animals is fed the same amount, so the times that feed is pushed may vary. The software in the Moov 2PRO allows you to introduce special schedules for all kinds of situations. These might be:

• A two-day schedule for those who feed once every two days
• One shot: for those who feed at irregular times
• Delayed start time: for feeding earlier or later
• Parking function: park the robot outside during feeding
• Pause/play function: pause the Moov 2PRO
• Jumpstart: the route is continued without returning to the charging station

JOZ Management System (JMS)

The Moov 2PRO connects to the J-Link Pro in the barn, which exchanges data with the JOZ Management System. The Moov 2PRO can be monitored remotely by both the farmer and the dealer 24/7 with the JMS, just like the new robot’s predecessor. It’s really easy to use, and improves the quality of service provided by JOZ. You can have the software updates performed automatically if desired.

In addition, you can change the route timetable or adjust other specific route settings via the JMS. You will receive a text message or e-mail if the robot has not completed a route, if the battery is low or if a service is required.
